I picked up one of my daughter's books the other day and was flipping through the pages, reading bits here and there. I came upon a paragraph that stood out. To give a brief overview, the novel was about a girl who the power to hear other peoples thoughts,....obviously not a true to life novel. In the scene, the girl and another character were in "the in between world" (not earth, but not heaven/hell) and the male character was telling the female (with the powers) to imagine something and it would instantly appear. She imagined a beautiful, sandy beach and voila, it was there. He said it was all just energy and it happened on earth, only more slowly...that's the part that stood out. It's true. The Law of Attraction says so, as does The Secret and a dozen other books and authors that will tell you that you can have the life you want just by thinking it. Think about it....if you are always thinking about good things, then that is what your focus will be and you will "see" more of the positive things that happen and you will acknowledge them. The negative things (and there will be some) will fade into the background, less noticed and less dwelled upon. What is in your head is in your life. We can all have more of what we want just by thinking about it. I think about wine and somehow it just appears...ok, well maybe it helps that I go to the liquor store and look at all those delicious bottles with their fancy labels and appealing names. Some of the bottles must have wings because often they end up in my cart almost as if by magic! Thank goodness it's always the ones I seem to like! Of course it goes to reason that when you have wine you have friends...look, I'm manifesting a great life here...wine and friends!! See how easy it is? You too, can have the life you want! I think..hmmm friends who bring me wine..and they appear at my door! Okay, again, maybe I did invite them, but hey..they showed up, didn't they? Life can present some challenges and it's not always easy, but when we look on the bright side and focus on the positive, that's when we acknowledge our ability to control our life...by controlling our thoughts. Hmmmm.....I envision many friends with wine coming my way.....all smiling and happy after reading my blog.
